REGISTRATION TERMS & CONDITIONS

Miss/ Mrs Africa UK

Must be at least 30 years old as of June 30, 2024

In order to be eligible to compete for the titles, delegate must meet the following criterion:

– Current residency in the UK or Ireland– Be born in Africa

– Have African heritage/link

Official Language
English is the official language of the Miss/Mrs Africa UK. It is a requirement for delegates to speak English.

Code of Conduct

Delegate shall be a person whose background is not likely to bring into disrepute the Africa UK Pageant & Empowerment Programmes, Miss/Mrs Africa UK titles or the Licensee or the Promoter or any person associated with them. Entrant affirms that she is and will continue to be a person of good moral character and that she does not have a criminal record. its representatives, sponsors and/or licensees; that she will not pose for any nude or provocative photographs during the preliminary or pageant finals, or during her reign should she become a titleholder.

Delegate will conduct herself in a courteous, professional manner at all times during the Pageant and while representing an Africa UK Pageant & Empowerment Programmes Pageant title.

Delegate will not slander or libel other contestants, judges, staff or anyone else involved with or connected to Africa UK Pageant & Empowerment Programmes. Defamatory verbal and/or written remarks against Africa UK Pageant & Empowerment Programmes will result in immediate disqualification, forfeiture of any and all prizes and awards won, and legal charges.

Any delegate found publicly posting slanderous remarks on public forums, social networking sites or any other public domain will be immediately disqualified and legal action will be taken.

Good sportsmanship is expected at all times. Disruptive behaviour before, during, or after the pageant may result in disqualification, removal from the premises, and legal charges.

Deadlines
All deadlines for photographs, and contestant information are strictly enforced and must be adhered to by entrant and by contestants and winners of Miss/Mrs Africa UK.

Registration fees paid to Africa UK Pageant & Empowerment Programmes are NOT REFUNDABLE and NOT TRANSFERABLE in full or in part for under any circumstances.

Disqualification / Title Relinquishment
If delegate is disqualified or relinquishes, for any reason, any title awarded to her, all prizes must be returned in full, and in condition received.

Publicity and Promotion
By virtue of participation in the Africa UK Pageant & Empowerment Programmes, delegate agrees to allow Africa UK Pageant & Empowerment Programmes the right to use her name, likeness, voice and/or biographical information for purposes of publicity and promotion now and in the future. Delegate understands that her name, likeness, voice, and/or biographical information may be used on the Internet, in print advertising, press releases and merchandise related to the Africa UK Pageant & Empowerment Programmes (e.g., t-shirts, tote bags, hats, other apparel, mouse pads, and other promotional materials.) Delegate agrees that photographs submitted to Africa UK Pageant & Empowerment Programmes may be used for publicity and promotion by Africa UK Pageant & Empowerment Programmes, the delegate must own the copyright to these images or have obtained permission prior to submission. Delegate agrees to release Africa UK Pageant & Empowerment Programmes from liability for any injury resulting from publicity and promotion. Delegate agrees to waive any and all compensation for use of her name, likeness, voice, and /or biographical information for purposes of publicity and promotion.

Agreement
By submitting or signing the entry form and  fee(s) to Africa UK Pageant & Empowerment Programmes delegate agrees to abide by all policies, rules and regulations set forth by Africa UK Pageant & Empowerment Programmes 

I agree to the above terms and conditions and agree to abide by all policies, rules and regulations set forth by Africa UK Pageant & Empowerment Programmes. I confirm that all information submitted to Africa UK Pageant & Empowerment Programmes is true and accurate. Falsification of information and failure to comply with the policies of Africa UK Pageant & Empowerment Programmes may result in immediate disqualification and/or forfeiture of prizes won without benefit of refund in full or in part at the sole discretion of Africa UK Pageant & Empowerment Programmes.
